Rata Campbell APR, MPRINZ
Director
Rata (Ngāti Kahungunu, Ngāti Rakaipaaka, Ngāti Porou) is passionate about the power of ethical and creative communications practice to affect organisational, systemic, social and policy-based change.
She has more than 20 years’ experience working with organisations across many sectors including health and disability, transport and infrastructure, tertiary education, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, the public sector, and kaupapa Māori organisations.
Rata honed her communications leadership as an independent consultant for a decade before launching Purpose PR in February 2024. She is a trusted advisor and facilitator who loves working with people - from project sponsors and senior leaders to operations staff, community members and whānau.
She holds a degree in Communications and Politics and an internationally-recognised Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) for senior practitioners. She is also an accredited Member of the Public Relations Institute of New Zealand (MPRINZ).
